01. The Challenge
A political leader, currently the unelected administrator of the union territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu and Lakshadweep, faced the challenge of raising awareness about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s significant visit to Lakshadweep. Prior to our campaign, there was minimal social media engagement or awareness related to Lakshadweep, with no related hashtags ranking in Twitter’s “What’s Happening” section. The goal was to highlight this visit and generate significant attention and engagement on social media platforms.
02. The Solution
To address this challenge, we launched a strategic Twitter Ads campaign designed to maximize visibility and engagement.
The campaign focused on creating high-impact visuals and compelling content that showcased highlights of PM Modi’s visit.
We employed targeted hashtags, including a newly introduced generic hashtag “Lakshadweep,” to tap into relevant conversations and enhance discoverability. The content was optimized for engagement, encouraging retweets, replies, and follows, aiming to spark a broader dialogue about the visit.

03. The Result
The campaign proved to be highly effective, generating substantial digital interactions with 38,557 clicks and 95,546 media engagements.
The newly introduced hashtag “Lakshadweep” successfully trended, reaching the 13th position in Twitter’s “What’s Happening” section.
The campaign achieved an impressive engagement rate of 7.51% and garnered 1,803,820 impressions.
Following the campaign, a diplomatic row ignited on social media, further emphasizing the visit’s significance and the campaign’s impact in shaping public discourse. This unexpected turn of events demonstrated the profound influence of well-targeted social media strategies in political communications.
